Meeting Minutes

 

Attendance: Deb Haldeman, Alan Wilcox, Kermit Grove, Brenda Phillips,  William Bishop, 

Don Empfield, Daniel Williams, David Craig, State Constable William T. Welter

 

New Memberships received 8-14-02 thru 9-10-02:     Abbie & Ruth Rosser

 

Meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m.  Deb Haldeman, President residing

 

Ø      August 14, 2002 Minutes approved

-Upon motion by Kermit Grove, seconded by William Bishop, all in favor, no objections,

motion accepted.

 

Ø      Treasurer Report:  $ 2,237.52

-Upon motion by William Bishop, seconded by Daniel Williams, all in favor, no objections, motion accepted.

-Upon motion by William Bishop, seconded by Kermit Grove, all in favor, no objections, motion accepted;  Additionally Treasurer requested authorization of $ 20.47 payment to Deb Haldeman for postage/paper/envelopes of recent member mailings for Amendments of By-laws, late dues notices, late credit reports fees owed, notice of rate increase in credit report fees effective 9-15-02, and WLLA Library material signed out.

Ø      Old Business

-Alan Wilcox informed members the WLLA Web Page has approximately 120 visitors weekly.  Any members interested in advertising their rental property vacancies email Alan at  Webmaster@LycomingLandlords.org

-Alan requested that WLLA post the “Landlord Property Standards” on the web page.

-David Craig suggested that WLLA committee consider the recent Amendments to By-Laws be based on a percentage, than a quorum of 7.   It was recommended that this be discussed more at next meeting, after the 9-15-02 deadline for return of Amendment ballot forms.

Ø      With no other business, David Craig moved to adjourn, seconded by Kermit Grove, the meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
