Meeting
was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Deborah Haldeman, President residing
July 9, 2002 Minutes approved
Upon motion by Holly Schull and seconded by Stuart
Kilborn, minutes accepted.
Treasurer Report: $1,823.81
Upon motion made by Don Peeling and seconded by
Stuart Kilbourn, budget accepted.
Old Business
Alan Wilcox discussed the
Web Site and the hits have tripled since the ad started in the
Sun-Gazette. Suggested we continue to
run the ad on a monthly basis. He also
requested the members utilize the free advertisement while it is free of charge
to keep the people coming back for the new ads.
Costs of advertising on web
site was tabled. (Don Peeling made
suggestion the exec committee make this decision).
Don Peeling presented his
sheet of requirements and standards he goes by for rentals to potential tenants
and discussed ways of mentoring new members.
Kermit Grove had submitted a
list of “Landlord Property Standards” he compiled with the help of the Dept. of
City Codes for review by the members.
He was complimented highly on his excellent efforts concerning these
standards. Motion made by Holly Schull
to add this list of standards to our membership packet and seconded by Don
Peeling. Standards accepted.
New Business
None
With no other business, Don Peeling moved to
adjourn, seconded by Stuart Kilbourn; the meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
